Scott Bancshares, Inc. was formed in 1982 when shareholders of Scott State Bank exchanged their stock for shares of holding company stock. Our multi-bank holding company consists of three independently operated subsidiary banks, Scott State Bank, State Bank of Niantic and the Maroa Forsyth Community Bank. Total consolidated assets of the holding company are approximately $120 million.
