OPEN POSITIONS:

Loan Processor, Maroa Location 

Job description:

Scott State Bank’s Loan Processors assist in the loan process by verifying information in all loan files, ordering documents needed to complete the files, updating information on the computer system, and paying property taxes and insurance on escrows, in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures and in compliance with pertinent regulatory requirements.  They also carry out duties relevant to the maintenance of all loan records post-closing and follow established procedures for servicing loans, including the processing of routine loan documents and preparing routine letters to customers.

Key responsibilities include reviewing documentation for accuracy, inputting loan information into software programs, ordering flood determinations, documentation retention, ordering appraisals, monitoring/paying insurance and tax payments, and performing annual escrow analyses.  Loan Processors coordinate with third parties like title companies and appraisers, and they work directly with lending personnel to ensure that documentation is compliant and received in a timely manner.   

Applicants should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with mortgage loan software program(s) (preferred)
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Document management skills

This role is pivotal in providing exceptional customer service while managing a diverse range of retail banking services such as teller responsibilities, opening consumer and non-consumer accounts, balancing accounts and maintenance.
